Latitude vs Maximum Temperature
Cities near the equator generally have the warmest maximum temperatures. Some cities in the southern hemisphere had the hottest maximum temperatures probably due to the earth's rotation since the northern was experiencing colder temperatures. The northern hemisphere has more temperature variation than the southern hemisphere.
