Latitude vs Wind Speed

The northern hemisphere is windier than the southern hemisphere. The windiest cities are mainly in Kansas. The cities bordering the Artic ocean are also windy. In the southern hemisphere cities on islands are the windiest. That is probably due to no land mass with vegetation and buildings to break up the wind.
